Product Update
New This Week (May 23-May 29, 2026)
A refreshed documents workspace with bulk export, locality-defined document types, attachment search, advanced global search, and offline code enforcement.
A refreshed documents workspace, more flexible document requirements, and stronger field tools for code enforcement.
- The Documents workspace was redesigned with bulk export so staff can pull sets of files with shared characteristics instead of downloading them one at a time.
- Localities can define their own document types instead of relying on a fixed starter list — useful when your forms and checklists use jurisdiction-specific names.
- Document requirement setup in admin is easier to scan and edit when configuring what applicants must upload for each permit type.
- Staff can search within document attachments to find a file by name or content without opening every permit first.
- Global search now has a compact "Advanced Search" for power users who need to find permits using multiple specific filters.
- The Code Enforcement mobile field app now works even better offline: officers can open cases, record inspections, and capture photos when connectivity drops, then sync when they are back in range.
- Permit uploads across the app now enforce allowed file types consistently, reducing mismatched attachments at submission and review.
- Work order photos retain file size metadata for more accurate records in the field.
- Loading placeholders now match the layout of each staff module so pages feel less jumpy while data loads.
- Admin data management screens were consolidated so related locality settings sit in fewer places.
- The permit document upload panel now has clearer labels and guidance text.
